GNDC Recognized Nationally for Member Retention
August 13, 2026BISMARCK, ND – Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) has been recognized with the Greatest Retention in Money Award by the Association of State Chamber Professionals (ASCP), a national organization serving state chamber leaders across the country.
The annual ASCP Membership Awards recognize state chambers for membership performance across several revenue categories. The Greatest Retention in Money Award recognizes the state chamber with the highest percentage of its prior-year membership dues investment renewed by members.
For GNDC, the recognition represents more than strong membership numbers. It reflects the continued commitment of North Dakota’s business community to GNDC and its mission to be the catalytic leader and unifying voice for economic prosperity throughout North Dakota.
“Retention is one of the clearest measures of whether an organization is delivering value,” said Arik Spencer, President and CEO of GNDC. “Our members choose, year after year, to invest in this organization and the work we do on behalf of North Dakota business. This award belongs as much to them as it does to our team. Their commitment gives GNDC the strength and credibility to be a unified voice for business across our state.”
That continued investment speaks to the value members see in GNDC: information that matters, advocacy that delivers, and relationships that move business forward.
“Our team takes seriously the responsibility that comes with every membership investment,” said Amanda Remynse, Vice President for Strategic Engagement at GNDC. “Members expect us to deliver—not simply benefits, but impact. That means providing business leaders with the information they need, building relationships across industries, and advocating for laws and policies that strengthen North Dakota’s business climate. When decisions are being made that impact business, our members expect GNDC to be at the table—and working on their behalf.”
ASCP state chamber members from across the country are invited to participate in the annual Membership Awards, which recognize excellence in membership performance, revenue and retention. The 2026 submissions represented nearly $56 million in membership dues and more than $108 million in total revenue.
GNDC’s recognition reinforces what its members demonstrate year after year: North Dakota businesses see value in a strong, statewide voice working on their behalf—and they continue to invest in it.
