    Current COVID-19 Case Numbers in North Dakota: 5,367 total positive cases, 864 active confirmed cases, 4,407 recovered, 96 deaths, 52 hospitalized
    Speakers: Governor Burgum, Chancellor Hagerott, Dr Wynne, & Chief Health Strategists.  

    Focus: The North Dakota University System plans to open state universities and college campuses for the start of the Fall Semester on August 24th.

    • NDUS Smart Restate Taskforce is working on a plan
    • Widespread pre-screening of students, faculty and staff is likely
    • $44 million from CARES Act federal funding will be used to make improvements to building ventilation systems and distance learning technologies   
    Additional points of note:
    No specific updates but encouraged businesses to keep checking Economic Resiliency Grant (ERG) for updates. Application cycle opens July 31, 2020
