GNDC Announces Chat Moderator Lineup at Virtual Policy Summit
The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) today announced the lineup of chat moderators that will accompany panel presentations during the annual Policy Summit. This event, in its ninth year, will be held virtually for the first time due to safety concerns created by COVID-19. Comprised of 5 panels, the series focuses on industry conversations that are or are going to influence North Dakota as the state moves through and past the pandemic impacts.
This virtual format focuses on industry experts gathered to speak at one location to have crucial conversations, which will be livestreamed. While attendees will not be able to directly visit with panelists, GNDC is providing an interface for networking and interaction. Chat moderators, subject matter experts, will provide insight from their perspective and also answer direct questions from attendees through the chat feature while panel conversations are occurring.
“Policy Summit is our flagship event. This bipartisan event is attended because of the balanced content that is provided but also to network with industry leaders. Chat moderators at this year’s event will be available to attendees to further prompt input and idea-sharing while providing another point of view on the conversation. The issues being discussed by these experts are complex and won’t be solved by only the panelists around the table,” stated Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO. “We encourage people to provide constructive solutions and personalized insight to help North Dakota create tactics to elevate all industries.”
Chat moderators and panelists have all been confirmed.
“The addition of these individuals will further push past the webinar format that people have grown weary of while working remotely,” Spencer said. “While we understand we can’t replicate networking, the conversations and commentary prompted by our chat moderators will add another level of interaction to attendees.”
