GNDC Announces Speakers at Virtual Policy Summit, List includes Gov. Burgum and Lt. Gov. Sanford
BISMARCK - The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) will hold its annual Policy Summit virtually and today announced the full roster of panel participants. The event, featuring 5 panels, will run Tuesday, August 25, through Thursday, August 27th. Tuesday and Wednesday will feature two sessions per day, 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Thursday’s afternoon session at 2:00 PM will conclude the event. Summit attendees will have the chance to interact by asking questions, chatting with each other, and participating in moderated polls.
“Technology and virtual meetings have played an essential role for business throughout the pandemic. The decision to go virtual was for safety and security of attendees and speakers during a time when crucial conversations and plans need to be happening,” stated Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO. “Our biggest concern was that we didn’t want to trip on technology or have it impede the conversation. Panelists will be socially distanced in one room so they can interact with each other and have an active dialogue on these pivotal topics.”
All panels and panelists have been confirmed. “We are excited about the expertise that we will have participating in our panel discussions. From Governor Burgum and Lt. Governor Sanford to business leaders and legislators, it demonstrates how North Dakota is coming together to plot a path forward.” Spencer remarked.
