GNDC statement on SCOTUS Block of Biden Administration’s Federal Vaccine Mandate

BISMARCK, ND (January 14, 2022) – Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO, released the following statement today regarding the U.S. Supreme Court’s January 13 decision on the Biden Administration proposed federal vaccine mandate to business which originated on September 9.
 
“GNDC, like businesses across the state, are relieved with the blocking decision issued by the Supreme Court. This executive order created direct overreach, weaponized a federal agency and eliminated the decision-making ability that businesses need to have. Our position has been and will continue to be, that businesses know the best course of action for their organizations. Government mandates create burden and right now our business community needs to be supported."
