GNDC to hold North Dakota Transportation Forum
The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) will hold the first North Dakota Transportation Forum on May 13, in Bismarck, at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center. This day-long event dives deeper into how transportation and associated policies impact all industries. National and regional experts will provide updates on trends and data impacting their organizations, industry, and our state. Presentations will range beyond roads, highways, and byways to other modes of transport - including air and rail.
“The Greater North Dakota Chamber is hosting the North Dakota Transportation Forum to draw attention to the critical role the transportation system plays in maintaining and growing the state’s economy,” stated Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO. “The day’s agenda highlights industries and stakeholders who manage and rely on safe and reliable systems.”
Speakers confirmed to present are Bill Panos – ND Dept of Transportation, Denver Tolliver – Upper Great Plains Transportation Institute, Terry Traynor – ND Assoc of Counties, Blake Crosby – ND League of Cities, Ron Ness – ND Petroleum Council, Dan Wogsland – ND Grain Growers, Sara Otte Coleman – ND Dept of Commerce, Chad Wolf – McNeilus Steel, Kimberly Bonhart – UPS, Amy McBeth – BNSF, Kyle Wanner – ND Aeronautics Commission, and Dan Zink – Red River Valley and Western Railroad. There will be a legislative panel including Senator Rich Wardner, Representative Corey Mock, and Representative Don Vigesaa. National speakers will be Ed Mortimer – U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Kenneth D. Simonson – the Associated General Contractors of America.
