Statement from GNDC on passing of Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem:

BISMARCK, ND (January 31, 2022) – GNDC released the following statement today regarding the passing of Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem.
 
“Wayne Stenehjem was a true champion for business. This was evident from his lifetime Chamber Champion score (90%) but also in the fights he chose on behalf of North Dakota business. He stood up time and time again throughout his career to ensure that our state was positioned to succeed though a positive business climate. His obituary will report of his professional accomplishments but so many will miss how kind and engaging he was. Our thoughts are with Beth, Andrew, and all of his family and friends.”
 
The funeral will be held 11 AM Thursday, February 3, at the Bismarck Event Center Exhibit Hall. Visitation will take place from 4 – 8PM Wednesday, February 2, at the North Dakota State Capitol Great Hall. Both are open to the public. Bismarck Funeral Home is handling further arrangements.
