Gardner to lead ND League of Cities

The Greater North Dakota Chamber is proud to congratulate Matt Gardner, GNDC Director of Government Affairs, in his recent acceptance of the Executive Director position at ND League of Cities.

The North Dakota League of Cities provides service, advocacy, leadership, education and support to the state’s 357 cities. As Executive Director, Gardner will lead the League in these efforts by serving as the primary lobbyist and advocate for city interests and identifying education and services that support North Dakota cities.

"Bittersweet seems trite but it conveys the tone here at GNDC. This is an amazing opportunity for Matt and we agree it's a great fit for his skillset. However, we are saddened that we will lose a team member that has been an essential part of our legislative and organizational success," stated Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO.
