    North Dakota's business leaders understand firsthand the opportunities and challenges shaping our economy. GNDC's annual Economics and Employer Survey provides an opportunity for members to share their experiences, identify emerging issues, and contribute to a stronger understanding of the state's business environment.

    The results provide valuable insight into business confidence, workforce needs, operational challenges, and economic outlook. By bringing together the perspectives of business leaders from across North Dakota, GNDC can identify shared priorities, elevate the voice of business, and better represent and defend the interests of employers statewide.

    With a 44% member response rate, the 2026 survey demonstrates strong participation from business leaders across North Dakota. The findings offer a snapshot of employer confidence, challenges, and expectations for the year ahead, providing a valuable perspective on the state's economic outlook. 
     

     

  • 2027 Survey Participation

    GNDC members will be invited to participate in the next Economics and Employer Survey in August 2027. The full question set will be available in advance for review and participation. 

    This member-exclusive survey invites designated organizational representatives to share their business's perspective.
