As the 69th Legislative Assembly approaches in January, the implications for North Dakota’s business community are significant. Decisions made during the legislative session will shape the state’s future, impacting business success, workforce development, technology, and infrastructure. The groundwork for this session began long before now, with months of preparation to address challenges and seize opportunities.

To provide a comprehensive preview of what’s ahead, the Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC), in partnership with TechND, will host a virtual Legislative Roundtable. • Opening Perspective on GNDC Legislative Priorities - Premier Sponsor, HealthPartners will kick off the day followed by a detailed rollout of GNDC’s legislative focus, setting the stage for the discussions ahead.
• Collaborative Legislative Agendas - A panel moderated by TechND Executive Director, Terry Effertz, will highlight partner legislative priorities. Leaders from organizations such as the Associated General Contractors of ND, Economic Development Association of ND, and TechND will share their objectives and expectations.
• Legislator Perspectives - Gain a behind-the-scenes look at legislative priorities with insights from representatives and senators, including Josh Boschee, Craig Headland, Mike Nathe, and Donald Schaible.
• Government Agency Initiatives - Andrea Pfennig of GNDC will moderate a conversation with government leaders about their legislative objectives. Speakers from ND Information Technology, North Dakota Housing Finance Agency, and Job Service North Dakota.

TECHNOLOGY INPUTS
Throughout the event, "Tech Topic" discussions will showcase how technological advancements are shaping legislative priorities. These sessions underscore the critical role of innovation in addressing workforce challenges, enhancing infrastructure, and driving economic growth.
