GNDC Welcomes Isabella Castillo as Event Coordinator Intern

GNDC is pleased to announce Isabella Castillo has joined the organization as Event Coordinator Intern, serving on the Member Engagement Team.

As North Dakota’s premier business advocacy association, GNDC is solely dedicated to promoting and defending the free enterprise system on behalf of businesses of every size and in every sector. Delivering a strong return on membership is central to that mission. GNDC’s Member Engagement Team leads that effort — ensuring a high-quality member experience, responsive customer service, and professional execution across all events and touchpoints.

In her role, Castillo supports the planning, coordination, and execution of GNDC’s conferences, policy forums, and member gatherings. These events are key platforms for connection, collaboration, and policy advancement. Her background as a substitute teacher and office assistant strengthened her organization, time management, and attention to detail — skills critical to delivering seamless, member-focused experiences.

Castillo said GNDC’s direct engagement with the business community made the internship a natural fit.

“GNDC’s direct engagement with businesses and its focus on advancing their success made this a clear fit for me,” said Castillo. “I’m excited to gain hands-on experience and help deliver high-quality events for members.”

A recent University of North Dakota graduate, Castillo earned a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in marketing and finance. She brings a driven, detail-oriented approach and a strong commitment to execution as she begins her work supporting GNDC members across the state.
