• Global Leader to Keynote GNDC’s Women to Know and Watch in ND Business Luncheon

BISMARCK, N.D. – The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) is pleased to announce Beth Richardson, Consul General of Canada in Minneapolis, as the keynote speaker for the upcoming Women to Know and Watch in ND Business Luncheon.

Appointed in August 2023, Richardson serves as Canada’s Consul General across the Upper Midwest, including North Dakota. In this role, she leads a team focused on strengthening relationships across business, government, and communities, while supporting Canadians living and traveling throughout the region.

With nearly three decades of experience at Global Affairs Canada, Richardson has built a career grounded in international collaboration and leadership. Her work has spanned Eastern Europe and Eurasia, the Afghanistan Task Force, and the Canadian International Development Agency, with postings in Seoul, London, Moscow, Miami, and Vilnius, Lithuania.

“Consul General Beth Richardson’s leadership reflects the power of collaboration and communication in building strong business relationships,” said Arik Spencer, GNDC President & CEO. “Her perspective aligns with the purpose of this event—bringing people together to recognize achievement, elevate women in business, and strengthen connections across our state and region.”

The Women to Know and Women to Watch lists are curated annually through input from alumni, business leaders, and partners. Honorees are recognized for their leadership, influence, and contributions to advancing North Dakota’s business community.
