• GNDC to Hold Virtual Policy Summit

BISMARCK - The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) has announced a format change and their panel schedule for the 2020 Policy Summit. This annual event, in its ninth run, brings together business and government leadership to discuss policies impacting North Dakota’s business climate and address issues impacting the growth of our state.

Due to COVID-19, GNDC will be providing this experience virtually with an interactive platform. The event, featuring 5 panels, will run Tuesday, August 25 through Thursday, August 27th. Tuesday and Wednesday will feature a morning session at 10:00 AM while each day will have an afternoon session at 2:00 PM. Thursday’s 2:00 PM session, concluding the series, will feature a panel presentation with Governor Burgum. Panelists will come together at one location for the dialogue. Their conversation will be livestreamed. Summit attendees will have the chance to interact by asking questions, chatting with each other, and participating in moderated polls.

“This year, because of the impacts of the pandemic, we have overhauled our format. This will not be the standard zoom or Teams call that people have grown used to. Our speakers will be around the same table having the discussions that we know they are having in real life,” stated Arik Spencer, GNDC President and CEO. “This style is real and will allow us to get to the heart of the issues with insider perspectives in a way that we haven’t before.”

Attendees may register for the entire event or by individual sessions. Both GNDC members and nonmembers may attend.
