• Greater North Dakota Chamber to host US Chamber Vice President at Annual Policy Summit

The Greater North Dakota Chamber (GNDC) will hold our annual Policy Summit on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, in Bismarck, at the Ramkota Hotel and Conference Center. This annual event brings together business and government leadership to discuss policies impacting North Dakota’s business climate and address issues impacting our state’s future growth.

The closing keynote of the day is Ronald Eidshaug, Vice President of the United States Chamber’s Congressional and Public Affairs Division to speak on “Big Federal Issues and Why We Should Care.”

“I’m excited to come back to North Dakota to present on issues that are on Congress’s to-do list for fall. Trade and infrastructure are at the top of the list. Issues from agriculture to immigration, energy, education, and health care remain important priorities,” stated Eidshaug. “What happens in Washington impacts Main streets across America. I look forward to talking about how North Dakota businesses can make their voices heard.”

Prior to Eidshaug’s keynote, the day will feature regional experts discussing current topics that are or will be impacting North Dakota political climate. Panel sessions will cover the trade and tariff environment, infrastructure funding gap, the cost of health care and the ongoing dialogue specific to removing the income tax.
