Member Visits

Chris Kalash, GNDC Director of Membership Services, recently made a trip out to the Devils Lake area to visit with some of GNDC's members. Below are the members that he visited:

Harvey Job Development Authority in Harvey – met with Director, Dr. Paul Gunderson. He has a number of Opportunity Zone projects in the works. Dr. Gunderson will also be a speaker at the Technology Impacts CEO Roundtable on March 11.

Garrison Diversion Conservancy District in Carrington - Met with General Manager Duane DeKrey and learned about the work that they do to provide a reliable, high quality and affordable water supply to the people of North Dakota.

Cash & Carry Lumber in New Rockford – Met with Manager, Bruce Gedrose. He was appreciative of the visit and interested in how he might be able to use the ND Career Builders program to find staff.

North Dakota Telephone Company in Devils Lake – Met with General Manager, Rodney Hoffmeyer and learned about their service area. We also discussed using ND Career Builders for IT and accounting openings that they have periodically.

Devils Lake Area Chamber of Commerce in Devils Lake – Met with Executive Director, Paula Vistad and talked about the importance of the partnership with GNDC and how our efforts in the area of policy help Devils Lake. We also talked about the importance of promoting the ND Career Builders program.

Forward Devils Lake Development Corp. in Devils Lake – Met with Executive Director, Brad Barth and talked about a number of ND Career Builders projects that are underway with area businesses.
